Jam Jars with Lids

Jam jars with lids!  If you have any spare standard sized jam jars with lids, Ian and Pat Catchpole would be grateful to have them for their produce for the community market.  They are happy to collect or pick them up from LG church.

Douglas Adams Memorial Walk

Douglas Adams Memorial Walk for Prostate Cancer UK.  Doug was a founder member of the Little Gaddesden Walking Group (LGWG) and a walk in his memory is being organised on Thursday 12th October.  Details of the walk will be announced in the next few weeks but will conclude with lunch at The Greyhound Pub in Aldbury.  If you would like to join the walk, please let Anthony Archer know on aw.archer@btinternet.com.  If you would like to contribute to the fundraiser, please go to www.justgiving.com/page/drfamemorialwalk2023.   Thank you.

Lady Marian Alford’s Altar Cloth – Exhibition at the Guildhall Art Gallery

Lady Marian Alford’s Altar Cloth – Exhibition at the Guildhall Art Gallery, London.  This Altar Cloth forms part of a major exhibition to celebrate the 400th Anniversary of the Worshipful Company of Gold & Silver Wyre Drawers.  The exhibition runs from 29th September – 12th November from 10.30am to 4pm at the Guildhall Art Gallery, Guildhall Yard, London EC2V 5AE.  Tickets £10.00.  It is hoped to organise a group tour on Monday 16th October (meeting at the Guildhall).  If you would like to attend, please contact Lyn Hyde on lmajh@btinternet.com

The Little Gaddesden Charities

The funds of The Little Gaddesden Charities are there to help and support those in financial need in the parish, especially at times when budgets are under particular pressure.

We also support young people in their endeavours, as well as the bereaved.
