Messy Church at Home

Messy Church hasn’t been stopped by the coronavirus outbreak…it’s just moved to Messy Church at Home!
We are sad that we still cannot meet together at Messy Church for the time being, but please use these activity sheets and share them with family and friends (download links are given below the browsing windows).

Young Minds
Young Minds‘ mission is to make sure all young people can get the mental health support they need, when they need it, no matter what.
“Whether they need a reassuring conversation, specialist mental health support, or simply the knowledge that they are not alone in how they are feeling, we will make sure that all young people get support that meets them where they’re at as quickly as possible.”
Headstrong
Headstrong is a Christian based on line resource working with Youthscape where teenagers can ask questions about life in the pandemic, tell their faith stories, listen to others, and do fun stuff.
Why not share your stories? Click here to check it out.
In normal times…
There’s a variety of activities on offer for children of different ages.
Sunday School
Sunday School is held during Parish Communion at 9:00am on most Sundays . Children up to 12 are taken into the vestry where they enjoy their own stories and songs, while the adults have a quiet service in the church.
There’s no Sunday School during the Family Service on the Second Sunday of the Month.
Workshops and Holiday Club

Messy Church and other workshops are held at various times throughout the year for children aged between 5 and 12.
A Holiday Club is held annually at the end of August. Younger children are normally accepted provided they are accompanied by an adult. Parents are welcome too as helpers or partakers.
Teenagers.
Occasional Supper and Discussion Evenings are held for teenagers. Watch the Calendar and News pages for details.
