In normal times…

The regular pattern of services in Little Gaddesden Church is as follows:

Normal Sunday
9:00am — Parish Communion with Sunday School
6:00pm — Evensong (Book of Common Prayer). Third Sunday at Nettleden.
Second Sunday of the Month
9:00am — Family Service, sometimes with communion.
Fifth Sunday of the Month
9:00am — Joint Parish Communion at one of Little Gaddesden, Great Gaddesden and Nettleden
6:00pm — Evensong (Book of Common Prayer)
Thursday
10:00am — Midweek Holy Communion

There are some exceptions to the regular pattern. For example, our service on the second Sunday is sometimes switched with another Sunday for a particular occasion. Also, from time to time, we hold alternative services such as Taizé evensong. And, of course, there are additional services during busy festivals such as Christmas and Easter and on other special occasions. So please consult the Services Calendar below to see the services in the coming days. We try to give as much notice as possible of any changes from the usual.
