Thomas Field Hall: The Work Moves Inside

As the main roof starts to be covered in plywood sheets to give it strength and stability, work moves inside with the first fix of the electrics.

There seems to be miles of cabling laced everywhere. This is the time to do it, though, as we don’t want cables run along the skirting boards later on. Included in the electrical wiring is quite an array of other services like audio visual So that we are wired for sound and able to play relays from the church if we have large congregations for special services, as well as films and talks.

The builders have fixed insulation to most of the outside walls so internally the spaces look a bit odd!
