Tuesday Morning Coffee and Cake

The Lent Group

The Great Gaddesden church Lent Group will begin on February 14th – Ash Wednesday from 2pm until 3pm in the Vicarage.  It will run for 5 weeks – until March 13th (Feb 14,21, 28, Mar 6,13).  The theme will be the Eucharist and each session is complete in itself so please come when you can. Lent Lunches

Lent Lunches start in the Thomas Field Hall on Friday 16th February from 12.30 – 1.30pm.  For the small sum of £7.00 (sorry we have had to increase the amount this year) you can enjoy a bowl (or two) of delicious soup, bread and cheese, fruit, tea or coffee.  Do come and chat with old friends and meet new ones.  Any surplus money (after expenses) will go to a local charity.  If you can help, please call Virginia on 01442 842428

DENS Challenge for Lent

DENS Challenge for Lent – Give Up & Give Back.  Challenge yourself to make a change or give up something you enjoy for Lent and donate to help local people facing crisis by supporting DENS.  See posters and obtain boxes for your cash savings from the back of our churches. We now have the facility to donate to Little Gaddesden church by text. Just text LITTLEGADD plus the amount you want to donate (between £1 and £20) to 70470, for example ‘LITTLEGADD10’ to donate £10.  

Texts will cost the amount donated plus one standard rate message.

The Little Gaddesden Charities

The funds of The Little Gaddesden Charities are there to help and support those in financial need in the parish, especially at times when budgets are under particular pressure.

We also support young people in their endeavours, as well as the bereaved.
