Tuesday Morning Coffee and Cake

Tuesday morning’s Coffee and Cake sessions are in the Thomas Field Hall – Tuesdays from 10:30am to 12:00 noon. Any enquiries to Hilary Catchpole at h.catchpole@btinternet.com .

Midweek Discussion Group

Wednesday 1st November at 7.30pm – What’s the Point of Baptism?  The Wednesday Discussion Group is meeting in the Thomas Field Hall to discuss baptism, its history, its biblical foundation and ask, is it really necessary today?  All welcome. Refreshments provided.

Service of All Souls

The service for All Souls will take place on Sunday 29th October at 3.00pm in Little Gaddesden Church. There will be an opportunity to light candles and the names of those who have died in the last year will be read out, together with any other names specifically requested.

Rita Humphreys

Rita Humphreys – Burial of ashes on Monday 30th October at 2.30pm followed by Tea in TFH. All who knew Rita are welcome BUT please let Virginia (842428) know ASAP for catering numbers.

Follow the Star

‘Follow the Star’. Friends of Great Gaddesden School (FOGGS) have launched ‘Follow the Star’ a walk of 2775 miles from GG school to Bethlehem aiming to complete by December 19th. The walk will raise funds for the work of FOGGS in the school and also First Steps Foundation a charity in Uganda supporting children in their learning. To support the walk please walk yourself (sponsorship forms available) and add your mileage every Wednesday to ggfollowthestar@gmail.com  or sponsor someone else. Donations can be made at

We now have the facility to donate to Little Gaddesden church by text. Just text LITTLEGADD plus the amount you want to donate (between £1 and £20) to 70470, for example ‘LITTLEGADD10’ to donate £10.  

Texts will cost the amount donated plus one standard rate message.

The Little Gaddesden Charities

The funds of The Little Gaddesden Charities are there to help and support those in financial need in the parish, especially at times when budgets are under particular pressure.

We also support young people in their endeavours, as well as the bereaved.
