Christian Aid Appeal for Turkey and Syria
Christian Aid has launched an urgent appeal to support those affected by the recent earthquake in Turkey and Syria. The charity is already working with partners in Northwest Syria to provide winter kits to people seeking shelter. Donations can be made at https://www.christianaid.org.uk/appeals/emergencies/turkey-and-syria-earthquake-appeal. Christian Aid is a member of the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) and donations made through this link will benefit from the Government’s commitment to match donations from the public to the Turkey and Syria DEC Earthquake Appeal pound-for-pound up to £5 million. Red Buckets will also be out at our church services over the next few weeks for your donations.
