Coronavirus

Following the recent changes to Government regulations, we can slightly relax some restrictions.

From the 19thJuly please, when in church:

  • Maintain social distancing from those not in your household or care bubble,
  • Mask wearing is no longer obligatory, but is recommended.
  • Singing is permitted behind masks.
  • Continue to use the hand cleanser at the door.
  • Receive Holy Communion as current practice.

We are now serving refreshments after the morning service.

Tuesday Morning Coffee and Cake – Café Zoom no more!

Tuesday morning’s Coffee and Cake sessions have now come back from the virtual world to their new home in the newly built Thomas Field Hall – Tuesdays from 10:30am to 12:00 noon. Any enquiries to Hilary Catchpole at h.catchpole@btinternet.com .

Midweek Discussion Group on Zoom

The Midweek Discussion Group is taking a break during August. The Group hopes to re-convene in September.

Do keep the ideas coming about topics that you would like to consider.

Christian Aid Strawberry Cream Tea

Thank you to everyone who supported Christian Aid by attending or helping at the Strawberry Cream Tea on Saturday 31st in Little Gaddesden. We are delighted to say that we raised £638 on the day. This means that Little Gaddesden has raised over £2,200 for Christian Aid in 2021.

Evening Worship in August

Please note that there will be no 6.00pm Evening Worship / Prayer services at Little Gaddesden during August.  These will resume in September.  The Evensong service at Nettleden on 15th August will be unaffected.

Regular Giving

Please remember that the church continues to function with limited services, so we do ask that you continue with your regular financial giving to support the ministry.  If you normally give weekly in church, you may like to consider paying direct through your bank account.    Click or tap here to visit the Donate Page to find out more.

Pay by Text

We now have the facility to donate to Little Gaddesden church by text. Just text LITTLEGADD plus the amount you want to donate (between £1 and £20) to 70470, for example ‘LITTLEGADD10’ to donate £10.  

Texts will cost the amount donated plus one standard rate message.
