Christian Aid Week Results

This year’s Christian Aid Week appeal has been a great success. Collections in Little Gaddesden in the week of 12 – 18 May 2019 raised £1,334.71. And that’s before the addition of Gift Aid. Depending on each donor’s tax status, Gift Aid can add a further 25% to the collected total. In fact the total is probably highter still, because some donors said that they were donating online.

Gaddesden Gallop Benefits the Vestry@50 Appeal

Congratulations to all the participants of last Sunday’s Gaddesden Gallop. Grey skies didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the participants on the 5 km and 10km runs through our lovely countryside.

And thank you to the 1st Little Gaddesden Scouts and to the Friends of Little Gaddesden School, the organisers of the event, for generously donating the entry fees of those who entered on the day to the Vestry@50 appeal. The appeal fund is £250 £550 better off thanks to their generosity and the efforts of the runners.
