Baptisms

Baptism, or Christening, is mostly performed for families with babies and young children.

Holy Baptism marks the start of a new life as a member of the church. It is an opportunity to thank God for all the good things we receive, to celebrate family life and most importantly, and to begin a child’s life as Christian.

Adults and those old enough to answer for themselves are also Baptised as a precursor to their being prepared for Confirmation.
