Would you like to join our Christmas Choir?

John Leonhardt writes:

As usual we need extra singers to keep our Christmas Carol service up to standard. Please make yourself known if you enjoy singing. You will need to be available on Sunday December 22nd for the service, and come to a reasonable number of Friday evening practices (Friday evenings at 7.00pm). Any singer is welcome, whether you can sing descants, alto, tenor or bass parts or “just sing the tune”, but we can’t put on a really good service if we just have our faithful few regulars. Don’t wait to be asked, because we can’t know every likely singer by telepathy. You can come to a practice unannounced, or contact me, John Leonhardt, on 01442 843550.

Cancelled: LG Music Club March Concert

Concert Cancelled

Dear All

I am sorry to have to inform you that we have decided to cancel Sunday’s concert.  It is cancelled rather than postponed because at this stage we can’t fix a new date; we hope to rearrange it for the autumn.

We have taken the view that as a large proportion of the potential audience fall into the high-risk category, it would be irresponsible to proceed.

This action seems consistent with other bodies; Andrew (the baritone) has told us that he has had a number of other events cancelled which were due to be held in the next two weeks.

If you are aware of anyone who may have been planning to attend that we may not be in direct contact with, it would be very helpful if you could let them know.

All monies received will be refunded – please bear with us as it will take a few days to complete that process.

Saturday 16th November from 10.00am – 12.30pm. Christmas Sale at Little Gaddesden Village Hall. Many charity stalls including those for British Humanitarian Aid, Church Vestry Extension, Prostate Cancer and Save the Children. Coffee and Mince Pies available. ALL WELCOME.
