Pit Stop Children’s Activity Group
Pit Stop Children’s Activity Group will next meet on Saturday 6th December, 2–4pm in the Thomas Field Hall, Little Gaddesden Church. For children aged 3 – 11 years (parents to stay with under 5’s). The Theme is St Nicholas. Activities, Crafts, Refreshments. Nativity Crib Service Registration. All welcome – contact Heather heather@greatgaddesdenchurch.com
Parish Administrator
Administrative Support Needed: Our three churches (LG, GG & Nettleden) are looking for administrative support. The tasks include longer term planning including rotas for ministers, services and, in LG, will include preparing volunteer rotas, service updates on our website and providing information for other ad hoc services usually determined by the church calendar. There will be regular liaison with our new vicar once appointed. This self-employed role would offer flexible working arrangements to suit the demands of the modern family, caregivers or those with other commitments. Christmas Choir
Come and join us as singers in this year’s Carol Service at Little Gaddesden! All welcome. Please let David Scriven know if you are interested – scriven.david@icloud.com. Carol Service: 6pm Sunday 21 December. Rehearsals (in Church 4-5.30pm): 30 November, 14 December, 20 December, 21 December (4.45pm – 5.30pm).
Little Gaddesden Travelling Crib
Mary, Joseph and the donkey will be travelling around the village during December. If you would like to host them for the night, please let Claire Beard know on email: travelling-crib@littlegaddesdenchurch.org.uk This is open to everyone in the village.
Tuesday Morning Coffee and Cake
Tuesday morning’s Coffee and Cake sessions are in the Thomas Field Hall – Tuesdays from 10.30am to 12 noon. Any enquiries to Barbara Sheard at barbara@sheard.com.
DENS Gift Service
The DENS Gift Service at Great Gaddesden is on Sunday 7th December at 11am. Monetary or food donations will be gratefully received on the day. Food donations can also be left in church during the week in daylight hours.
British Humanitarian Aid (BHA) Gift Service
The BHA Gift Service at Little Gaddesden is on Sunday 14th December at 9am, followed by Advent Breakfast. All welcome. We have been asked for donations of clothing and bedding in reasonable condition.
Midweek Discussion Group
The Midweek Discussion Group normally meets on Wednesday evenings, but is cancelled till 10 December 2025.

We now have the facility to donate to Little Gaddesden church by text. Just text LITTLEGADD plus the amount you want to donate (between £1 and £20) to 70470, for example ‘LITTLEGADD10’ to donate £10.
Texts will cost the amount donated plus one standard rate message.
The Little Gaddesden Charities
The funds of The Little Gaddesden Charities are there to help and support those in financial need in the parish, especially at times when budgets are under particular pressure.
We also support young people in their endeavours, as well as the bereaved.
