Notices
Coronavirus
It is with a really heavy heart that I have decided to close the churches for public worship at least over the Christmas period. This decision which I assure you has not been taken lightly, is based on our being put in Tier 4 of the current Government regulations and to protect us all from this horrible virus. We have many vulnerable people in our parishes and it is important that the church does not exacerbate the situation.
However, I am not giving up, but it does require some changes to our plans. Please see above as well as the Services and Coming Up pages for our online activities, and keep checking back here for updates.
I wish you a very Happy Christmas despite everything
John Russell, Vicar

Crib Service
From 2:00pm on Christmas Eve a short recorded Crib Service will be available via the Services page.
Also from 2:00 – 4:00pm on Christmas Eve, the large nativity scenes will be repositioned in the church porches of Great and Little Gaddesden, for anyone to come and see. There will an audio loop running with the Christmas story and some carols playing. Large signs will be put up in prominent positions encouraging generous giving.
Midnight Mass and Christmas Morning Services
The services in Great and Little Gaddesden and Nettleden Churches have been cancelled. Please join us for the online alternatives: recordings of the Christmas Carol Service (first broadcast 20 December at 3:00pm) and Christmas Eucharist Service (first broadcast Christmas Eve at 6:00pm) will be available on the Services page.
