Thomas Field Hall: Progress Inside

This week there was progress inside. The walls and roof of the Hall internally were lined out in plasterboard fixed onto battens on the 75 mm of insulation which will keep the spaces warm.  Next week the plaster skim will be applied and the inside will look almost finished.

The first fix of plumbing pipework is in. The underfloor heating is installed and concrete screed laid on the floors to make them ready for the finishes.  The corner is being turned and we are seeing what looks more like habitable spaces and less like a building site.
