This week has seen the next significant stage of construction with the big roof trusses being set up. These will be partly visible inside the hall and form the inside of the roof.
The steelwork frame for the Ambulatory has been erected, and visible on the right of the picture is the part of the frame for the glass entrance wall. The brickwork parapet wall of the church which is above the glass roof is quite badly weathered in places and it is being repaired by having the spalling bricks replaced while they can still be easily reached, and the stone copings are being repointed.
