Notices
Coronavirus
Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, there will be no formal acts of worship at our three Parish Churches for the foreseeable future. All our churches will now stay closed until further notice. There will be a live-streamed Eucharist service at 9.30am on a Sunday for all the Berkhamsted Team Ministry. The live stream will be available on the Services page.
New Layout for Live Stream on Services Page
We are trying out a new layout on the Services page that we hope will work better for viewing live streams and video recordings of services. On larger screens and tablets, the video and the service paper will now be displayed side by side to make it easier to follow both at the same time. On smaller screens such as mobiles, the service paper is below the video. On all screen sizes, the pew sheet/bulletin then follows. The download links are still available in case you want your own copies of the papers.
Regular Giving
Please remember that the church continues to function even with the buildings closed, so we do ask that you continue with your regular financial giving to support the ministry. If you normally give weekly in church, you may like to consider paying direct through your bank account.
Do you need any Financial Help?
If you, or anyone you know, is in financial difficulty, the Vicar has access to hardship funds. Please feel free to contact him in the strictest of confidence on 01442 214898 or at vicar@littlegaddesdenchurch.org.uk
Church Governance – Postponement of Meetings; PCC’s Report to the APCM
In view of the Coronavirus outbreak, the Annual Parishioners’ Meeting (APM) and the Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) and the associated Parochial Council Church Meeting following the APCM, all scheduled for Sunday 19th April 2020, have been postponed. Under the currently prevailing provisions, the APM and the APCM will have to be held by the extended deadline of 31st October 2020.
The PCC will still aim to finalise the 2019/20 report that it would have presented to the APCM and publish it and send a copy to the Diocesan Board of Finance by the end of June 2020.
