Week of Sunday 22nd March 2020, Mothering Sunday

This is the first ‘Weekly Services and Notices’ news post in the coronavirus era, in which no public services are being held in church. So the format and content are somewhat different from the norm. There may be changes from week to week while we experiment with what people find most helpful and what works best, so please bear with us.

Services

Sunday, 22nd March, Mothering Sunday

Although there will be no formal service for Mothering Sunday, Little Gaddesden Church will be open in the morning at the usual time and flowers will be put out on tables. Vicar John will be there. Please come along between 9 o’clock and 9.45 to stay for a while, light a candle and say a prayer and make up a posy to give to your mother.  Everyone will be very welcome.

Services Generally

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, there will be no formal acts of worship at our three Parish Churches for the foreseeable future.

However, Revd John Russell intends to be at our churches when services would normally take place (midweek and Sundays). See the Services page for timings.
